The material our jewellery is made of
Jewellery almost always looks good in a photo. Whether it still looks good a year later comes down to the material. So let us take a moment to tell you what our pieces are made of, and why we chose exactly this.
Why we talk about material for so long
From the very beginning we wanted to make jewellery you never have to take off. No removing it before the shower, no remembering it before you swim, no jewellery box where the beautiful pieces wait for a special occasion.
That sounds simple, but above all it is a question of material. Only a material that can handle water, sweat and everyday life makes jewellery possible that truly goes everywhere with you.

316L stainless steel
316L is the steel you also know from medical technology. It does not rust, it does not tarnish and it keeps its shape. It is hard enough not to scratch easily in everyday use.
For us this was never a question of cost. It is what makes it possible for a piece to really last. Anything else would have meant making you a promise the material could not keep.
The 18K PVD gold plating
PVD is not a varnish and not a thin layer that flakes off at some point. The gold is applied in a vacuum and bonds with the steel at a molecular level.
That is why it handles water, sun cream and daily life far better than conventional gold plating. Your jewellery does not stain your skin and keeps its shine, day after day.
For skin that usually reacts quickly
Our jewellery is hypoallergenic. If ordinary fashion jewellery usually leaves you with itching or redness, you can wear ours without your skin reacting.
The reason lies in the material: in 316L stainless steel, nickel is firmly bound within the steel and does not reach your skin. You feel nothing at all, and that is exactly how jewellery should be.
Made for everyday life
Showering, the sea, the pool, sport, sleeping. You do not need to take anything off and you do not need to polish anything.
A damp cloth is enough if your jewellery has picked up cream or sand. It needs no more care than that. This is exactly why we chose this material.

Two years of guarantee on the gold plating
We give you a two year guarantee on the gold plating. Not because we have to, but because we believe in pieces that stay with you for a long time.
If the plating fades under normal everyday use, we stand behind it. This applies to every gold plated piece, including our newest designs.
Well made jewellery that you love wearing every day is, to us, the most honest form of responsibility. You can read more about how we see it here: Sustainability.
