How do I clean my necklace?
Wiping it now and then with a soft, slightly damp cloth is all it takes. Steer clear of hard brushes and microfibre cloths – they can scratch the surface. Acids, chlorine and alcohol-based cleaners are too aggressive and you don't need them anyway.
How do I store my necklace?
Best kept individually in a fabric pouch or the JEVAANI box. That way the chains don't tangle and don't pick up scratches. Let perfume and sunscreen dry before putting the necklace on – it protects the plating.

Are the necklaces really waterproof?
Yes, without a doubt. All JEVAANI necklaces in 316L stainless steel are waterproof – swimming, showering, in the pool or at the sea. They don't rust, don't rub off and don't lose their shine.
Why 316L stainless steel instead of silver or gold?
316L stainless steel is harder and more corrosion-resistant than pure silver or 9-carat gold. It doesn't oxidise and doesn't stain the skin. With the 18K PVD gold plating you get the gold look, but with the toughness of stainless steel that handles everyday life better.
Are the necklaces suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. All our necklaces are nickel-free and hypoallergenic, made especially for sensitive skin. Even after long wear there's no itching and no redness.
Do you have clover necklaces?

How do I wear the layered look?
Choose necklaces of clearly different lengths, for example a short one (about 40 cm), a medium one (about 45–50 cm) and a long one (about 55–60 cm). Stay within one colour family, so all gold or all silver, and the look comes together.
Is there a guarantee on the plating?
Yes. Every plated necklace comes with a two-year plating guarantee – our Golden Care guarantee. If the plating fades with normal wear within that time, we'll take care of it.
Are the necklaces length-adjustable?
Mostly yes, the necklaces are size-adjustable. And if it's not quite enough, the LOLA extension adds 5 cm to any chain. So it sits just how you want – a tight choker or a relaxed layered look.
How do I care for my necklace?
